Andrew’s progress in helping define a new “For-Benefit” model of business earned him a seat on the Advisory Council for the Fourth Sector Mapping Initiative that is helping the US government formalize the For-Benefit legal model to become a new fourth sector of the economy, joining the existing three sectors—for-profit, non-profit and government.

Andrew’s passion to inspire young leaders to seek careers at For-Benefit companies has him regularly collaborating with universities such as Princeton, Harvard, and the United Nations University for Peace.

After years of growing up in snowy Canada, Andrew now spends most of his time defrosting in Encinitas, California where he is leading the charge to build a regional ecosystem to support local For-Benefit businesses.

Ayman Sawaf is an international visionary entrepreneur, author, and musician. He has founded and personally funded a variety of companies in the US, Europe, and the Middle East in the realms of media, commerce, education, and technology. Ayman is married to Rowan Gabrielle, with whom he raised his three children Kareem, Aziz, and Azlan.

Ayman first coined the term emotional literacy in 1987. In 1989 he created Enchanté Publishing, known now as Kids EQ, a children’s media company whose mission is to promote emotional literacy at home and in schools.

Enchanté published a 21-book series on emotional literacy and a 6-book series on the magic of color. Enchanté and its affiliates also created, produced, and released two award-winning feature films and three television series for children. These were created in conjunction with media partners SONY, Warner Brothers, and HBO, along with producers Norman Lear, actress Shelley Duvall, and former Disney animator Jim George.

Ayman sits on the board of Six Seconds/Feel.org, the largest global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting emotional literacy and emotional intelligence. Feel.org has launched a campaign to supply every school in the US with emotional literacy books and training in an effort to provide a solution to the issue of violence in schools.

He has spent the last 10 years engaged in emotional, psychological, and meditation work in parallel with his professional life leading teams building websites for large corporate clients and now a partner with the management consulting firm HolacracyOne.

He holds a Masters in Integral Psychology, has been a student of the Diamond Approach work since 2007, and spent extended time in meditation and personal development retreats. She has provided thousands of intuitive readings, and she sees intuitive intelligence as an essential literacy for 21st century leaders.

Her work with Fortune 500 as well as with small company business leaders in facilitating large scale change in industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing, market research, marketing/communications, real estate development, and financial services spans three decades.

Therese holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Transformation from Union Institute and University, an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Denver. She has also done extended study in somatic psychotherapy and over 50 different healing modalities.

Dr. Rowley is a special advisor to the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago on Transformation and Social Innovation and is an Advisory Board member to the Green Ribbon Foundation.

Steven has frequently held positions of CFO and COO.  During his 25 year career numerous companies have achieved successful funding and exit events in great part to Steven’s approach to organizational structure and financial modeling.  He has been the lead in many of these companies fund raising negotiations as a CFO, fractional-CFO or financial consultant.  During Steven’s career he has built detailed financial models for over 25 companies of varying sizes, has been the CFO or COO of 10 organizations and continues to be an ongoing advisor to a many of the companies he has worked with.

Steven’s journey with creating financial models fostered a deeper interest in economics and the underlying challenges in building and sustaining vibrant living economies. This growing curiosity bore fruit with the development the Holonomic Perspective and has become the foundationing set of principles that guide Steven’s creations and his collaborative efforts on birthing generative models in the marketplace today.

Before this he served as Managing Director for the asset management firms of Adams O’Connell, Inc. and Morgan Adams, Inc. which had 200 entities and over $600MM under management including a Venture Capital group.
